Here is one from younger days. Finbarr was a good man. Always fun to be around and Karen was right he loved that Bowie, especially the Ziggy Stardust phase. We have so many fun memories of the old Dot days.

Sincere condolences to Jimmy, Pat, Michael, Roberta, all my cousins and their families. Finbarr darling your amazing giggle, laugh and gorgeous blue eyes will be sadly missed. So glad we had one last giggle together in recent weeks. You were one in a million and made our visits to Boston so special with all the partying, fun, laughter and love. We always had a fabulous time and have many memories we often share with one another and Jimmy. Always makes us smile. Iwill raise a toast to you. I miss you so much, a light has gone out but a star will appear. All my love your cousin Annie Xoxo

Finbarr stopped in the DOT TAVERN every now and THEN. He always had the story of the day or week. His laugh was loud and infectious. He was so proud of his family and would talk about his fathers service record all the time. He is now reunited with his union brother billy Dougherty and John Dougherty. Gone to soon, god bless him and his family

Finbarr is remembered fondly in so many of my wonderful adolescent memories. May he rest in peace... secure in the knowledge that he was loved and will be forever missed.

Dear Jimmy, Pat and Michael. Sincere condolences and sympathy on Finbarr's passing. I have fond memories of Finbarr when we worked together at Jean and Paul's, he was always so funny and always had a smile for everyone. Loosing a sibling is very difficult, and my heart and prayers go out to all of you. God Bless Finbarr, a good man lost too young. Warm regards, Kate Barry, Friend

Condolences to the Whelan Family. I have such happy memories of our friendship with Finbarr. From his amazing smile to the pure twinkle in his amazing blue eyes. He was a unique guy who lived his life his way. I can still see him dancing to his fav - David Bowie! Rest in Peace Fin

Finbarr’s unique chuckle or laugh is ingrained in my memory - so we obviously had a few good laughs or hijinks here and there. A good memory to have.

“To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters.
We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts.
We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys.
We live outside the touch of time.”

Thinking of Finbar brings me right back to our teenage years hanging on “the Cornah” behind St. Margaret’s Church! I remember us laugh, his smile, his impish eyes! Those are special and treasured times! Rest easy my friend...until we meet again!

Finbarr, thanks so much for all the hillarious memories you gave us during our numerous trips to Dorchester in the mid 80s.
